I am a kiln formed glass artist/designer who creates joyful fused and slumped glass. Glass has been by passion for the last ten years and it is important for my development that I continue to learn new glass techniques.
Having studied at Kent Institute of Art & Design, I went on to get a BA (Hons) in Art & Design. In 2008 I attended a Fused Glass taster weekend and was hooked. This was followed by various other courses in glass techniques.
My work is constantly evolving and some of my glass incorporates powders and frit, making it more like abstract art. In the future I aim to do some sculptural work.
I have exhibited at a number of galleries including The Horsebridge Arts Centre and the Fishslab Gallery both in Whitstable, and the Nucleus Arts Centre in Chatham. I’ve also taken part in the Designer & Makers Market at the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate, the British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate and the Designer Market at Old Spitalfields in London.
